- At select local games, the Marlins Foundation will host a silent auction featuring autographed memorabilia and one-of-a-kind experiences. The silent auction table, located on the Promenade level, will open when the stadium gates open and close at the end of the fourth round. Through our training programs, we provide access and opportunities for our young people through university scholarships, leadership development opportunities and educational resources. Our programs impacted over 45,000 students in 2021.

- The Miami Marlins Foundation partners with the Kiwanis Foundation of Little Havana to distribute school supplies to schools in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The effort results in more than 9,000 students receiving school supplies to start the school year with all the materials needed to have a successful school year. PNC Bank will support our efforts in 2022.
- Great Minds, Great Athletes in partnership with Miami Dade County Public Schools and the Positive Coaching Alliance
- The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Great Minds, Great Athletes program, in partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance and the Miami Marlins Youth Academy, is the first of its kind in South Florida and unites three organizations focused on youth development in community. The innovative program supports student-athletes, as well as their parents, coaches and school administration, building on the strong mental health work of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Department of Mental Health Services. For the 2020-21 school year, 5,148 people across 18 schools were affected by the schedule. At the beginning of the 21-22 school year, Bally Sports Florida joined the program as we expanded our program to 27 schools in Miami-Dade and Broward County. Nike will support the program for the 2022-2023 school year.

It's important to recognize our frontline heroes and community game changers, and our Marlins Impact Moments do just that, providing an unforgettable experience and recognition for our heroes, community leaders and organizations during every Marlins game in House.
- Frontline Game Hero presented by CITY Furniture
- On Mondays, the Marlins Impact Moment presented by CITY Furniture honors a member of the police, fire, rescue or military. This person will be honored for their efforts to make an impact in our local community.
- Community game changer
- On Saturdays, the Marlins Impact Moment will celebrate individuals or organizations that are making a positive impact on wellness, empowerment or youth baseball and softball in our local community.
Miami Marlins Scholars
The Miami Marlins Foundation offers need-based financial scholarships to students who are making an impact in the community. We offer First Generation Scholarships for students who are the first in their families to go to college, Legacy Scholarships for RBI participants, and an annual scholarship for students through the Jackie Robinson Foundation presented by Nike.

- The Miami Marlins Foundation Slugger Schoolhouse initiative presented by PNC Bank provides quarterly connections throughout the school year, including educational initiatives, food drives, training opportunities and fitness programs to our local schools around the stadium. Participating schools include Lenora B. Smith Elementary School, Poinciana Park Elementary School, Kensington Park Elementary School and Alpha Charter of Excellence.
- Sports can fight racism in association with the Positive Coaching Alliance
- An initiative in partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance to develop a national curriculum for the Sports Can Battle Racism workshop for student athletes and provide training for coaches and student athletes throughout South Florida, understanding the substantive role that coaches and student athletes play in promoting racial equality and social justice. The program encourages the development of courage, resilience and character on and off the pitch.
Miami Marlins Foundation: Wellness
Focusing on the wellness challenges that keep children from succeeding in school, the Miami Marlins Foundation addresses food safety, promotes healthy eating habits, and physical and mental fitness. Our Home Plate Meals program, which consists of food pantries, drive-thru and mobile distributions, and a Thanksgiving distribution program, has provided nearly 6 million meals in total since 2019, with more than 5 million meals delivered to our local community in 2021.

- Focusing on the wellness challenges that keep children from succeeding in school, the Miami Marlins Foundation addresses food safety, promotes healthy eating habits, as well as physical and mental fitness. Our Home Plate Meals program, which offers school pantries, drive-thru distributions and a Thanksgiving giveaway, provided over 5,000,000 meals to our local community in 2021.
- Home Plate Meals Food Pantry Program
- In partnership with Feeding South Florida, we created a food pantry at the Charles Drew K-8 Center to provide an easily accessible variety of foods for students and their families, in a safe environment they are already familiar with. The Food Pantry focuses on providing fresh, non-perishable fruits and vegetables through a farmers market-style monthly giveaway. The generous support of our players and fans has allowed us to support this program. A pantry will also open at Citrus Grove Middle School sponsored by UHealth to serve Citrus Grove Elementary and Middle School families.
- Home Plate Meals Thanksgiving Giveaway Presented by Tito's Homemade Vodka
- The Miami Marlins Foundation organizes the annual Thanksgiving Home Plate Meals Giveaway presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka at LoanDepot Park. Traditionally, Marlins CEO Derek Jeter joins Marlins players, Marlins front office, community leaders and Love, Tito volunteers in donating 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to families in need in our local neighborhood. Each family receives a Thanksgiving bag that includes a 10-pound turkey and sides to make a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The event yields more than 20,000 meals.
- Home Plate Comidas Food Garden
- The Miami Marlins Home Plate Meals Food Garden offers monthly educational workshops throughout the school year for students at the four nearby Miami Marlins Foundation Slugger Schools. Each workshop serves as a learning opportunity for local youth to develop healthy eating habits, care for the environment and learn proper gardening techniques. The garden will also receive periodic gifts of trees and gardening materials for families in the neighborhood.
The outfield, measuring 44 feet by 21 feet, is located outside LoanDepot Park near the center field entrance.

The Miami Marlins Foundation offers sports-based youth development programs that use baseball and softball as a vehicle to provide children with life-changing emotional and social learning experiences. Miami Marlins RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) presented by the University of Miami Health System
An invitational sports-based youth program designed to promote interest in baseball, softball, academic achievement, and social responsibility in underserved areas of South Florida. The program offers free, educational, competitive summer baseball and fastpitch softball for youth ages 13-18.
The Marlins provide uniforms, referees and equipment to over 500 kids a year. All participants enjoy a fun and competitive summer league and clinics run by Marlins players and alumni. Participants can also participate in our series of professional workshops, an on-field recognition ceremony during RBI Night and the opportunity to be selected for the RBI All-Star team competing in the Southeast Regional Tournament.
Miami Marlins Jr. RBI presented by University of Miami Health System, Nike and LoanDepot
A free youth outreach program for children ages 5-12. Designed to increase participation and interest in baseball and softball, encourage academic achievement, and teach the value of teamwork. Participating leagues include City of Miami Parks and Recreation, Boys & Girls Club of Miami at Gwen Cherry Park, Boys & Girls Club Northwest, City of Ft. Lauderdale Parks and Recreation and Miami Gardens Parks and Recreation.
Spring Tee Ball Initiative by Marlins Youth Academy presented by UKG
The Miami Marlins and the Miami Marlins Foundation are committed to advancing the game of baseball and softball in South Florida. Through the Marlins Youth Academy Tee Ball initiative, our goal is to help leagues alleviate some of the league's costs. These savings, in turn, can reduce enrollment costs, thereby increasing the potential number of children playing. In the program, we provide branded Miami Marlins jerseys, Marlins hats and equipment for each tee ball team in the program. The spring schedule presented by UKG features over 225 teams in 23 South Florida leagues. City Furniture will sponsor the fall tee ball program.
